Facility & equipment

Hospital-grade equipment in a small, calm clinic — and disinfection standards we’re proud to publish.

Digital anoscope

Digital anoscope

The digital anoscope shows you what the doctor sees. Visual information about your condition and its progression helps you understand the diagnosis — much like a dentist showing you the monitor — so you can feel informed and at ease during treatment.

Gastroduodenal & colon fiberscopes

Gastroduodenal & colon fiberscopes

Olympus GIF-XP 290N transnasal gastroscope — at 5.4 mm diameter you can even talk during the examination — and Olympus CF-HQ 290I colonoscope using CO₂ gas, so you feel little bloating afterwards. Both offer advanced, clear imaging, and we have performed polypectomy here since 2015. For capsule endoscopy we refer to the National Cancer Center, same-day where possible.

X-ray room

X-ray room

Used for Minato Ward lung cancer screening, suspected intestinal obstruction, bone fractures, and pre-operative checks before lumbar anesthesia.

Ultrasound examination

Ultrasound examination

Radiation-free examination of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas and kidneys — and a key tool for detailed anal examination of fistulas and perianal abscesses.

Recovery room

Recovery room

A calm room for preparation before endoscopy and for recovery after procedures and surgery, with a seat for an accompanying person. Coffee is usually ready — ask the staff whether your procedure allows it.

Endoscope cleaning

Endoscope cleaning

Every endoscope is washed in a dedicated machine using electrolyzed acid water (EAW) — rated by the World Endoscopy Organization guidelines as a high-level disinfectant that kills microorganisms quickly while remaining safe for the human body and the environment. We clean assuming every case could carry a viral infection.
